Spears Mallis is the owner of Oakwest Landscapes, located in Mountain View, CA. Sometimes referred to as “The Plant Whisperer,” Spears has two decades of horticultural expertise and found his calling while tending caringly to seedlings and customers in the local nurseries of Marin County. He has nurtured a broad range of outdoor spaces throughout the Bay Area such as the galactic gardens of Skywalker Ranch, maintained the beloved public parks of San Francisco, and even installed hospital rehabilitation gardens in Santa Cruz. From intimate backyard plots to ornate estate grounds, Spears has designed, installed, and maintained a diverse array of landscapes, helping to make the Bay Area a beautiful place to live.

Uniting people with the outdoor space that makes them feel amazing, proud and deeply satisfied is what inspired Spears to found Oakwest Landscapes, a company that puts our clients and their families first.
